Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available in a number of lots near the Bryce Jordan Center including Jordan East in the ADA Visitors Section (near Gate B) and Stadium West directly across the street from the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office.  Parking in these lots is available upon a first-come, first-served basis.

Please allow extra time for traffic and parking when planning your visit to the Bryce Jordan Center.

A valid, state-issued ADA placard or license plate is required in addition to payment for parking.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available in multiple locations in the arena. Seating locations vary depending on the event.  When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate what type of accessible seat you require, so that we can properly assist you. To purchase accessible seating:

  1. Visit Ticketmaster online, and select the event. On the map in the upper right corner, click on filters, scroll down select "show accessible seating," and click apply. All accessible seating options will be visible.
  2. For questions/concerns regarding accessible seating, please contact the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office at (814) 865-5555 or bjc@psu.edu.
  3. For accessible seat locations, please view the seating chart on the individual Ticketmaster event pages.

The existence of handrails, width, and steepness of steps are a few items you may want to inquire about when choosing a seat location.

In accordance with the ADA, each individual with accessible seating may have a maximum of three (3) companions in the same area.

For assistance with accessibility accommodations during your visit, please stop by Guest Services at Gate B once inside the venue.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverages may be purchased inside the arena at select events. 

All alcohol purchases must be accompanied by a valid state-issued driver’s license or ID, Passport or Military ID.  You must be 21 years of age to purchase any alcohol.  Service of alcoholic beverages is limited to two (2) drinks per person, per purchase. 

Management has the right to refuse service at any time.  Alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the discretion of Bryce Jordan Center management.

Guests are not permitted to bring in any outside alcoholic beverages, nor are they permitted to leave the building with alcohol purchased inside the Bryce Jordan Center. 

Animals

Service dogs and miniature horses that are specifically trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability are welcome inside the Bryce Jordan Center. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times, unless doing so interferes with the animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents the use of these devices.

If you anticipate bringing a service animal to an event, please contact the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office prior to your visit at (814) 865-5555 or bjc@psu.edu so we can assist with appropriate seating accommodations.

Pets, comfort animals and emotional support animals are not permitted inside the Bryce Jordan Center.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices are available for guests with hearing disabilities at all Bryce Jordan Center events.  To obtain an Assistive Listening Device, please visit Guest Services at Gate B on our concourse. 

Guests will be required to leave a valid photo id as collateral for the device. 

Assistive Listening Device types include Loop and Over the Ear. 

ATM

There is an ATM located on the Bryce Jordan Center concourse. 

Beginning September 2, 2026, the Bryce Jordan Center will transition to a fully cashless guest experience for all concessions and merchandise transactions. Guests will be able to pay using credit cards, debit cards and mobile payment methods. Concessions locations will also accept Lion Cash and eligible Penn State student, faculty and staff meal plans. Guests arriving with cash may convert it to a prepaid debit card at no additional cost using the Cash-to-Card kiosk located at Portal 7.

Autographs

The Bryce Jordan Center does not support solicitation of autographs of any kind on Bryce Jordan Center property.  The Bryce Jordan Center also cannot accept autograph/photograph requests by mail.

Baby Changing Stations

The Bryce Jordan Center is happy to provide baby changing stations in each women’s restroom at the Bryce Jordan Center.  For additional accommodations, please visit Guest Services at Gates B on our concourse.

Backstage Passes

The Bryce Jordan Center does not issue or sell backstage passes to events.  Backstage access is strictly limited and is arranged by tour management on a show-by-show basis.

Bag Policy

In line with the best practices at major entertainment venues, the Bryce Jordan Center utilizes walk-through metal detectors at all entry gates and restrictions on the size and type of bag that may be carried into the arena for all events. 

PERMITTED BAGS AT THE BRYCE JORDAN CENTER:
  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” x 1"
NOT PERMITTED
  • Any clear bag larger than 12" x 6" x 12" 
  • Backpacks
  • Messenger Bags
  • Roll Bags
  • Binocular Cases
  • Duffle Bags
  • Coolers

An exception will be made for diaper bags, clear backpacks (that fit within the specs listed above) and medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.

Fans will be asked to return non-approved bags or other prohibited items including empty, refillable water bottles to their vehicle prior to arena entry. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags or items at the BJC.

All media representatives with necessary bags and equipment must enter the BJC at the media entrance to have each item inspected and tagged prior to entering the BJC.

Limit one bag per guest.

Binoculars

Binoculars are permitted for most events.  Cases may be permitted if they adhere to the BJC Bag Policy.  All items are subject to searches upon arrival.

Camera Policy

No commercial photography of any kind is permitted. Cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited. Flash photography, video cameras or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized by a team, promoter or artist management. Guests should check the events listing on the website to find out the policy prior to the event.

Cell Phones/Computers/Charging Stations

Cell phones are currently allowed in the arena as long as their use does not interfere with other guest’s enjoyment of the event or activity. No devices can be plugged into the building's electrical outlets.  Charging stations are conveniently located on the concourse level of the arena.

Tablets, laptops, and computers of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Child Ticket Policy

The admission policy for children varies by event.  Please check with the Ticket Office at (814) 865-5555 or bjc@psu.edu for the age requirement for tickets for the event you are interested in attending.

Code of Conduct

  • Guests will be treated in a professional and courteous manner by all BJC personnel.  The same treatment is expected in return.
  • Guests are required to sit in their ticketed seat.  When requested by BJC staff, a valid ticket must be made available for inspection.
  • Guests are expected to refrain from the use of foul language, obscenities and disruptive behavior.  If you witness this type of behavior, please report it to the nearest BJC staff member or text "BJC <space> your section and row number" to "69050".
  • Guests engaged in the following activities will be ejected from the venue: fighting (verbal and/or physical), harassment, throwing of any object.
  • The BJC reserves the right to confiscate items deemed to be dangerous, offensive, explicit or distracting.
  • Responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages at some events is permitted.  To protect guests, staff and the facility, the BJC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
  • Guests must be fully clothed during visits to the BJC.  The BJC reserves the right to refuse admittance or to eject individuals who are not in compliance.
  • Smoking of any kind is prohibited in all University facilities.
  • To ensure everyone's safety in the event of an emergency, guests are required to comply with direction from authorized BJC staff.
  • The BJC reserves the right to escort guests from the building who enter the arena floor or backstage areas without proper authorization.

Doors

Doors typically open one to one and a half hours prior to show time, please check event details for exact times.  Please note that there will be a security check prior to entry.

Emergency Procedures

​​​​​​The Bryce Jordan Center is committed to providing the highest standard of safety for our visitors and employees.  In case of an emergency, please follow instructions of the staff and proceed to the nearest exit and out to the street level in a calm and safe manner.  Guests should use the stairwells as a means of evacuation.  Elevators may not be working at the time of an evacuation.

Fans who wish to report issues and concerns (e.g. security needed, spilled drink, medical issue, etc.) can do so in a quick and convenient manner by texting the Bryce Jordan Center Text Assist Service.  Text “BJC <space> your issue and location” to 69050.  Bryce Jordan Center personnel will respond in a timely manner to assist with your inquiry.  Standard SMS text rates may apply.

Entry & Re-entry

The Bryce Jordan Center will utilize walk through metal detectors at most events.

Upon arrival, fans will be requested to remove items like cell phones, keys, bags/purses and large metal objects that may set off the alarm, thus requiring further inspection. Although these units are more effective and faster than handheld metal detectors, patrons should still plan to arrive early to events in order to avoid standing in long lines. 

The Bryce Jordan Center has a No Re-Entry policy during events.  Guests wishing to return any items to their vehicle must do so before passing through security.

First Aid

Certified medical professionals are available at our First-Aid station during most events to assist guests with medical needs.  Guests in need of emergency first-aid should contact the nearest Bryce Jordan Center employee for assistance or visit Guest Services at Gate B.  The primary First-Aid station is located on the concourse near portal 22. 

Food & Beverage

The Bryce Jordan Center Concourse Concessions options are open during ticketed events with delicious chef-prepared, pre-packaged, and made-to-order options catering to many dietary needs. Guests may not bring in outside food and/or beverage. Guests with specific/dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements should contact the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office at (814) 865-5555 or bjc@psu.edu prior to arrival.

Guest Services

Guest Services is located inside Gate B on the Concourse of the Bryce Jordan Center and is open and available to assist guests for the duration of all events.

Guest Services staff members including ushers, ticket takers and security are available to assist patrons throughout the duration of all events.

Health & Safety

Your presence at Bryce Jordan Center programs, events, or activities indicates your agreement to adhere to all university policies, including health and safety policies such as masking if applicable, and your acknowledgment that you are voluntarily participating in this program, event, or activity. You further acknowledge the contagious nature of covid-19 and assume any and all risk of exposure to or infection by it or any variant thereof, including, without limitation, personal injury, illness, severe complications, permanent disability, and/or death.

Lost & Found

For all lost and found inquiries, please contact the Bryce Jordan Center Welcome Desk at (814) 863-4675 or bjc@psu.edu.  Items are collected and logged the day after each event.

Merchandise

Event merchandise is generally available for most events and located at locations on the arena Concourse.

Nursing Mothers

The Bryce Jordan Center provides nursing mothers’ station for all events located near Portal 32.  Guests who wish to access the space may speak with Guest Services representative at Gate B for assistance.

Parking

Parking for Bryce Jordan Center events is provided and managed by Penn State University Transportation Services. View our parking rates and additional information

Prohibited Items/Security Screening

Outside food and drink including refillable water bottles, all alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, weapons of any kind, illegal substances, and audio/video equipment are strictly prohibited from the Bryce Jordan Center. Backpacks, bags and large purses are not permitted inside the Bryce Jordan Center.  Please see the updated Bag Policy at the top of the page for details.

Strollers

Strollers are allowed into the Bryce Jordan Center. Fold up strollers are preferred due to limited storage space. The Bryce Jordan Center does not provide any areas for secure drop off of any personal items.

Taxis/Rideshare

The Drop-off and pick-up location for Taxis/Rideshare options is located at the corner of University Drive and Curtin Road. 

Ticket Office Hours

The Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office is located on Curtain Road between Gates A & B.  15-minute parking is available in front of the ticket office.

The Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office has limited hours of operation and is not open on non-event days for in-person transactions.  On event days, the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office is open approximately 90 minutes prior to event start.  During all events, the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office will remain open until approximately one hour after the event begins.

Umbrellas

Umbrellas are allowed in the Bryce Jordan Center unless otherwise stipulated by the artist/tour management, promoter, and tour security.  Please check your event page for details on prohibited items.  Please visit the Bryce Jordan Center's Bag Policy Page for more information and FAQ's.

Wheelchair Escorts

The Bryce Jordan Center provides complimentary wheelchair escorts for guests when requested.  Wheelchair escorts may be requested at any entry point or at Guest Services located at Gate B on our concourse during events.

Please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during the event, nor will they allow you to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event.  Upon request, our staff will also provide you with an escort after the event.  Personal assistance into or out of the wheelchair cannot be provided.
